are cookies my friend?

I check my cookies regularly, only keeping the CFC cookie and few others I need. usually I have a bunch of ad cookies I delete

Short answer: Some are and some aren't.

Long answer: Too lazy to type and explain, search google.

all web sites use cookies. some use for good stuff, some take advantage of them. it comes to what you are visiting.

Hmm, cookies . . . yes, they are very delicious, especially ones with little chocolate bits in them . . . what am I talking about, I mean the ones that ARE a big chocolate bit . . .

Now, to take this non-literally, they can be good and bad. I am just too darn lazy to delete them, so I assume that they are all good . . .

I've turned on the option in IE to manually handle cookies. The places I frequent get to store them, the rest don't. It slows down browsing, but keeps cookies of the system.

I keep all of them generally, but sometimes I go through the list of cookies and delete all the ones that sound suspicious, like containing the words 'ad', 'sex', 'nude'... Then I tell Firefox not to allow the sites that set the deleted cookies to set any new cookies.

Or you could just run Adaware and let it choose the ones which actually do affect you in some way or another.

No, otherwise I would have to login to CFC every time. Besides, it's always possible to shut cookies off.:)
