Myself and a handful of my friends are fans of all things Civ, but I don't exactly want everyone to read that I just built the Hanging Gardens. It's hard to talk to girls when they think you get off on pretending to be Nebuchadnezzar.

Slightly off topic; but I found out very very long ago that if you want to do any 'social gaming' your best bet is to create a seperate account. I tried a bit of gaming on my 'real' account but spamming businness contacts and college friends asking for ingridents in cafe world, rivets in cityville, energy in A&E etc etc was a complete turn off. Since then I've got my real account and a gaming account and it makes it a lot more enjoyable.

That being said, I've yet to get into a game with any of my many, many, many friends yet - lol. Every game I've been put into has had a ton of players; but no friends. :/

There is not much spamming in this game and it give you a pop up before it does anyway which you can just "skip". So no worries. Ironically, this is the one game I wish my friends could join me in and of course, that's not an option (which is rather ******** tbh).

I don't believe I've seen any notifications posted to my wall (or others for that matter) other than the beginning notification that I was playing CivWorld. I've only played about 3 times for 30 minutes so far though, so I don't know if I've triggered anything worthy of a notification yet.

Every 'achievement' you gain should attempt to post a notification to your wall - I believe.

When you get an achievement you are asked if you would like to post it to your wall. I'ts optional. Nothing has been posted to my page.

Do you really want a girl who doesn't like CIV??? I believe this should be an announcement to all your FB-friends that if they don't like CIV they don't deserve to be your friends.

What about girls who LIKE to play Civ? Maybe they are avoiding you because you are a dull non-civ player.
