So finally I saw some clips and commentary on the debate. First of all, how awful is abc? Who trained these accountant monkeys? Your overrated American business trade schools no doubt. They give a candidate maybe 2 minutes, at best, to answer what seems to be their only prepared follow-up question to everything: “-How are you going to pay for that!” How did Americans pay a trillion dollars for a dead end in Afghanistan, by the way? Oh, but when it comes to war abc act like the Generals are these neutral bringers of absolute truth about what has to be done. Who bred this generational crop of idiots?

Debate winner? Probably Warren, she’s a rock solid 7/10. For me Bernie is a solid 9/10 on issues but he was croaky and hunchback in the beginning and not wearing a red blouse which in Sommerswerd-land probably deflates him to insignificance. Loser was obviously “ramble-mumble-“word-salad”-…children need to listen to record-players and words” Biden. Now there’s a perfect example of cognitive decline from old age. Bernie is clear as a damn whistle compared to that mess.

OK Naskra. With your post in mind, let’s take small steps. Is there a certain part of Bernie’s progressive agenda that you feel is more funded with moonbeams and marmalade than other politicians’ agenda?

Small steps. Let's confine this to Bernie. His agenda is not funded at all, so far I can see.

You can start here berniesanders.com/issues/ that's a whole lot more sensemaking than Trump had, or Obama, or Bush, or Clinton. And you have to also click the "read more" button but you probably knew that.

Is to laugh. Not all of the money.

For example, since 1988, American productivity has doubled while the real median family income has inched up by a mere 10%. Note; this is just income, i.e. salaries, which excludes inheritance (not taxed) and capital gains (taxed at a rate less than salaries). Psst: The wealthy's main source of wealth is inheritance and capital gains.

In other words, the wealthy have gamed the system so they pocket almost all of the money.

Your view of the kleptocracy is broader than Bernie's. Vote Warren.

Let's do health care. Under the US system, Americans pay twice as much per capita as other industrialized nations. Yet we have the shortest life expectancy and an infant mortality rate twice that of other industrialized nations. Bernie wants to copy the systems of Scandinavia, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Australia, etc.

    Why is he wrong?

Because it's too late. We have already built in Pentagon style pricing: there is no return.

I hear Mario Cuomo's immortal words:

To say Americans "can't" evidences a complete ignorance of Americans.

Not really but more generics and have a Centralized buyer of drugs.

We have universal health care here and it's almost a third of the price in the USA and you can go private.

If you need a rebuttal to Cuomo's inspirational boilerplate, check back in the '80s. Confine it to Bernie, I asked. Ok, he said. Suddenly Cuomo the Elder is doing his presidential timber imitation.

In response to your assertion that Americans can't have affordable healthcare because we are a bunch of feckless, weak-willed losers. The good governor points out that it is only Republicans who think that way.

Why do Republicans think they're the patriotic party? Their whole message is "oh we can't pull off a system similar to what other countries do." Even when said system costs less, is more efficient and has better outcomes.
