arguably

The way I use arguably is to kind of make my opposition or person I'm debating with feel like I respect their viewpoint, but I really don't (I am extraordinarily stubborn) and probably think of them as an idiot.

Ex: Arguably, you could say that marijuana isn't very dangerous and would be used less if it was legal, but I don't think it would be the case and more people would use it (you baked hippie).

Using both "arguably" and "you could say" is sort of redundant. They serve pretty much the same purpose.

Oh, and any statement using the word indubitably in this day and age is likely to immediately dismissed as humor, which is probably good, since using it in a serious manner would identify the poster as a pompous fuddy-duddy of the highest order.

I am now diligently practicing ways to casually insert indubitably in my everyday sentences so I too can be considered a fuddy duddy of the highest order! :goodjob:
