Actually, antique Armenians were mostly blond haired and blue eyed, like I am. Some Armenians have very dark skinned today, but in Roman times and previously, they were much lighter. For example, the Assyrians call the early Armenians, the Nairi, which implies that Armenians were very light people.
Actually, there is no proof of what you said. first. Nairi in Assyrian means *the land of rivers* and that is what they called Armenia.
I spent alot of time researching and reading about Old Armenian culture from Hayasa-Azzi to Urartu to Tigranes the Great to Levon Lusignan. Never heard anything about Armenians having blonde hair and blue eyes. Sure you will find some Armenians with blonde hair and blue eyes(maybe 5%). That doesnt mean all Armenians were like that. Can you link me to a valid info about that? Maybe i am missing something.
