They are similar, but exactly the same would be plagiaristic, which these are certainly not. Funny how you singled these out, even though there are many units on these forums that are similar to firaxis units, some of my own included. It's not surprising though since many units are intended as replacements for units in the original game. Use them or don't use them; I don't really care.

nice stuff NavyDawg think I like the Industrial one the best....

someone told me that kneeling death was bad with a cape, because it goes in to the floor and does not bend rigth.......

I guess thats not true for good unit makers, because the cape on the medival guy looks nice and realistic when he dies :)

Aww c`mon Dawg, I didn`t mean it like that :(

What I`m trying to say is that I don`t think it was such a good idea to model them like Firaxis units.. cos.. well.. I don`t like the choices Firaxis made. I mean.. a prophet and a king.. whatever happened to generals before the Industrial age?

NavyDawg... Great 4 Pack you made here. Well done Variety is always appreciated...your units easily find homes in many Games which speaks highly and directly about them. These units will especially fit and enhance the Epic Game very well. :goodjob:

Of course they're walking. They're generals... what general goes in with the first wave?

I mean in Civ3 every unit is running, and it would look strange to have a general walking at the same speed than a running soldier, wouldn't it ?

I'm definitely using a few of these (read: all but the modern one) in the FF mod. Thanks!

I suppose but I don't see it as a big deal or even a flaw. If all else fails you can simply speed up the animation by editing the "[Speed] Normal Speed=225 Fast Speed=225" in the configuration settings.

Then they'll be powerwalking or something...

That wouldn't speed up the animation, it would only increase the speed at which the unit moves across the screen. You would also need to adjust the flic itself if you want it to animate more quickly.

Very interesting and nice job. They dont look like the original included officers even if they are based on the same idea.

These are great NavyDawg! By including an attack anim. these can be used for all sorts of things. The modern one is going into a mod of mine right away.

These are bloody awesome! Thanks so much for these ND!

This may sound like a sort of gread thing to say, but could you by chance add a sword-swing animation to the industrial leader?
