As a muslim, how do you take the anti islam comments posted on this forum?

Well, at least you might find anti-catholic or anti-religious posts as well here on this forum.

I would be glad to see more comments on religious matters from non-christians and non-atheists.

Don't be too much affected by the fact that you might be in the minority. People interested in your posts will read them anyway.

Well, in my opinion this forum seeks discussions about the Civ games (I, II, III, IV, Rev) and nothing else, except for the Off-Topic.
So if someone claims anything about Islam, be it concerning the game (for example (it's not what I think, but this could be the case): "Civs with Islam should receive a special unit: suicide bomber, as in reality, suicide bombers have the reputation to be mostly islamic" then, this is not an offense, in other words: it must not be taken as an offense, and even less must the muslims not react to it defensively as this would turn the discussion into a political or philosophical direction which is incoherent with the actual content of civfanatics.com
In this case, the one who tries to defend Islam or any other topic, that is just meant to be concerning the game, is an idiot, may the other one's opinion be as idiotic.
But in case someone claims anything else about any religion, that is not meaning to concern the game, the offended should have the right to have his say, although this is not necessary in my opinion, as it should be apparent to everyone that the one who starts a political discussion on a non-political forum.

Basically I think, such comments as these shouldn't be taken at all.

I noticed it right away, since I knew four pages of new stuff couldn't show up in the 90 minutes I'd been gone. Excepting such awesomeness as threads about race traitors. But I always look at dates, particularly if the posters are unfamiliar.

Yeah - I have not been on for a few days, so it was possible that there was a new topic only 4 pages long I hadn't seen yet... I was also only half paying attention to it, but should have heeded the warning signs!
