Question : Would anyone have an issue with the merging of the Bannor Chain of Command and Greatest People modules into the main game ?

I experienced something strange in my latest game. AI Hyborem won a Time Victory on Turn 690. I decided to keep playing, just for fun. Turn 700 I was notified that Agares and I had won a Gone to Hell Victory (I was playing as the Sheaim). So that was strange to begin with.

More importantly, after I watched the game replay and went back to playing, I saw that at least three of my cities had disappeared, and so had the list of player scores on the right-hand side of the screen.

I've attached the save game from the turn when it happened. Hope it's helpful.

 

The gone to hell thing is intended. Agares always wins the hell victory along with whoever contributed most to the AC.

Will check the disappearing city thing

 

Just to clarify, what I thought was strange was that the Gone to Hell Victory came *after* there had already been a Time Victory. I figured that once there had been a victory of any kind, you wouldn't have a second type of victory.

 

ah, no every victory can happen if you continue playing. that's true of vanilla civ4

I noticed two things in the meantime:
1) All recon units can pick the Musteval promotion at level 1. Is this intended? It seems strange, considering it's a race promotion.
2) I just had Forest turn into Ancient Forest in the territory surrounding one of my Citadels. I am following the Order.

Getting a WoC hang at the end of this turn. Just hit "Enter."

 

Can someone tell me why my 25+ year old units are getting leashed (can only move one tile away) in my current game? Is it intended behavior? Is it a world spell or something?

 

i have absolutely no idea. Show me some screen shot and maybe a save file

 

Ok, that's the save, but the weird thing is the leashed promotion went away after I closed Civ IV & reloaded. It didn't do that earlier when I simply reloaded the (multiple older) saves. If it happens again I'll make sure I get a screenshot before I quit out.

 

Playing as the Scions with the latest Reivion, 327, can't adopt the Glory civic after having researched Engineering. Glory appears in the Civics screen, but I can't adopt it.

 

Everytime I try to use the Calabim world spell, it also reduces the population of my Calabim cities by 2

There seems to be a problem with the "Promotions" section of the Civilopedia in the latest revision. See attached screenshot. The rest of the 'pedia looks okay.

If it matters, I made all the modules active EXCEPT the following: Jotnar, LoyalCorrupt, MPL, and Silver Circle.

 

I have issues with the promotions section of the pedia too, it often fails to load some of the promotions in the list, and when I click one of the promotions I get an unidentified C++ exception and an empty pedia screen.
