    Amerikanski is an adjective :)
Like, amerikanski movie. If you want to say "American" as a noun, you should use "Amerikanets" (male) or "Amerikanka" (female)

The giant cat says "No shrooms here, mang"
There is deliberate grammatical error, "жы" must be written as "жи"

How would hypothetical military conflict between Russia and Canada look like, assuming no nuke usage and US neutrality?

Of course, assumption of US neutrality is a bit unrealistic.
    Spoiler :
Comrade Donald will surely help Russia

Russia would crush Canada. Next question.

Well, not quite. It can defeat Canada militarily, but the cost of hypothetical invasion would be too high.

Ukraine just elected stand-up comedian Zelensky as a president, with 75% majority of votes.
His real support rating was probably even higher, since several millions of Ukrainians living in Russia couldn't vote and most of them would vote against Poroshenko.
That's pretty cool, I was following elections hoping that Poroshenko would lose it and now there is a hope that new president will be able to end the civil war.

May 1-st, "Monstration" in Moscow. Communists, absurdists and vegans.

    "Russia without Putin and oligarchs"

    "Remember. Love. Mourn."

    "Respect all wavefunctions!"

"Our tasks are unclear, goals are not defined. Let's work, comrades!"

"This planet is for all creatures. Go vegan!"

    "Proletarians of all countries, unite!"

    Gaspadin Elk,
I believe that when the Red Army Choir was short of funds they did various concerts with unusual bands and they went on tour to raise money to survive.
Did most Russian people think performances like these were Ok, or did many disapprove?

My wife and I call the original of this one as "our song"...

More recently, I saw this version of 16 Tons. (I think the lead singer's voice is so deep only a moose could hear all the tones...)

Not a very good version, and I wonder whether the singers understand all the words to this song:

    Amusing, but not realistic.
When has a Finn ever given somebody a non-empty bottle of kossu to hold?

There are different Red Army Choirs, the most famous one is Alexandrov Choir. I doubt they ever were short of funds, to be honest. From your three examples, the middle one looks like Alexandrov Choir, the other two I'm not sure about.

Yes, I guess. This doesn't look crazier than singing with TaToo beside pink inflatable tank:

    (From Eurovision-2009)

I like this performance, it shows connection between different times and cultures in Russia.
And they are right about "Not gonna get us", of course :)

Thanks for making me look like an idiot for thinking there was only one Red Army Choir!

My (paternal) grandfather was in a Lithuanian choir in Adelaide where most songs would have been along the lines of "We're Gonna Get Those Russians Soon", of course. :)

    Well Nato would intervene,
First Ivan should only get the French Canada, while the US gets the English Canada.
Then sign non aggression pact before Germany decides that annexations are now cool and it wants in on the fun.

Adelaide's Russian Community Centre (about 200m from my house) is celebrating their 40th Anniversary.

    On the Victory Day.

The Blue Handkerchief waltz, by Taganrog students:

It's surprising that there is no English wiki page for this song. In Russia it was almost as famous as Katyusha, during wartime.

Or from behind the ships. That way the sails had blocked the line of sight of the ballistae.

Do you know why it was installed here and what it is referring to? :)

Because You can't talk to man wearing hats, skinny women or strange cats ? (third figure from the left on a sing). Maybe it was Prima Aprilis joke ? Maybe it is a refference to "Alice in Wonderland" ?

    Nope.
But you are thinking in right direction, with the idea about "Alice in Wonderland".
I'll give the right answer later, if you are curious - maybe someone else will want to guess.
