How can I change cloth colours to make protrait for a new unit without tinting fleshy bits in Asset Editor through Asset Previewer functions?

As my mod project goes. so more units added. (and newer challenges) This one.. the newest. the Sharpshooter (Recon choice. intended to replace Ranger (and the ranger will go to the late renaissance instead). I like him to wear green jacket similar to what ACW Union Sharpshooters and Napoleonic era British Riflemen did.

But this is how it played out

Yes I use Machinegun ammo holder as a basis (because, hey Sharpshooters uses breech loading rifles and often seen in wildwest flicks. and bandoliers are a trademark of that genre).

Is there any methods to change chothing colours without affecting fleshy bits? what tools and methods do I need? and in game display will remain as industrial era colour schemes and not modern era camo greens.
