hello,
I just installed civ4 gold on my vista pc and have at least two major problems. First the game loaded with no error messages of any kind during the install. The installer though never asked me if I wanted to install a shortcut on the desktop. When I try to play the game I can only see the lower inch or so of the game screen, and this is on the very top of my monitor display. Friaxis tech support asked me to download a patch ( 1.74) but when I tried to install it ,the setup wizard states there is no version of the game to be found on my computer.I have verified I have the latest updates for Vista and ythe latest drivers for my video card ( Nvidia Gforce 7350le). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
