attached - best starting position ive seen in a long while

That was a pretty good start. Bizarro settings though.
Do you even have a plan or any goals on winning this game? It's 1580AD or so and you have not built any National Wonders including the all important Ox and National Epic. You have only Domination VC set, but haven't built Heroic Epic nor do you appear to have much of an army.
Free Speech is doing you much good at present.
Game is still very much winnable though. However, just at a cursory glance, it seems like you are just "going through the motions" with this one.

ive been playing for a while now, but i know some of you are in a different level completely, so im interested in what you have to say
ive decided to try a strategy ive never used before
which is to cut down forests to get wonders
it worked
i have like 4 wonders
but now my cities dont make many shields and national wonders take soo many turns to build..
my plan.. dont really have one
aztecs koreans and babyloneans where all jewish like my holland
and we had great relationship
koreans moved to being atheists but i still have an ok relationship with them
i intended to attack them for their two great cities
one has like a dozen wonders
the other is the holy city with solomon's temple
my plans where ruined though
the aztecs and babyloneans crushed the second camp
aztecs grow out of control
babyloneans too
when babylon fought america and persia, i backstabbed them
tried to keep some balance of power in my neighbourhood
took some of their winnings (about 3 cities only)
they has soo many units but i had technological edge of rifleman vs their musketmen
but when they got grenadiers i opted for peace
didnt manage to mitigate their expansion after all
now it seems like from the soon to be four survivors i am the weakest
with a dismal ability to harvest shields, i dont think there is much for this game then just passing turns (at least with my skill)
but the beggining position was so uniquely promising that i wanted to share it with you
i know some people like me, restart many many times for a nice position and this will save some time
i think we should even have a sticky with uploads of great starting positions

By the way, if you want to improve your game, I recommend spending time over in the Strategy & Tips forum. It's also where games are posted for folks to share and talk strategies.
Sounds like you have a bit to learn about maximizing hammers and turning food into hammers -there's several ways to do so.
As for this game, get Steel, build cannons in the HE city you should already have and use the Draft.
