I am posting a save of my current game in honor of the birthday of America for your gaming pleasure this weekend. It’s a monarch standard continents, Lincoln. BTS 313, build 3.0.0.1. It’s currently turn 283 (1826). I just started researching Assemby Line which will come in 6 turns. This will open Industrialism, Refridgeration is open and will take 4 turns. So the game is all setup to enjoy the UU and the UB. I would have liked to play a little longer before posting it as there is some more work to be done, but I wont have time before the 4th.

Situation: There are two continents, our continent had 4 civs (USA, France, Arabs, Babylon) on it each in one equal corner of a large circular land mass. Manifest destiny has relegated Arabia to the dust bin of history.

The second continenet has Mao, Yarob, and Hattie. Yarob absolutely dominates this land mass, having vassalized Hattie. He is huge and has a 1000 point lead on us in score, although thankfully we have tech parity. China maintains a small, so far independant nation, which may be useable by us as an advanced basee against Yarob. But for now, the gringos are marching on Babylon. Babylon has been a faithful friend all game long, but we need their land for production if we are going to D-Day Yarob. And we must D-Day Yarob in the grand American tradition. So far, DeGaulle has been friendly enough, keeping himself busy fighting small wars with his neighbors. I plan to let him live and focus on the other continent.

So there it is. If your play level is below monarch, you can take this and play it to get a feel for this level and use some of the late game toys. If you play at or above monarch, you can take a look at my playstyle, and enjoy mopping up the game. I’m not saying I am perfect, this game needs more units and also more workers. Sal’s lands desparately need reconstruction and the Babylon invasion force is really small. But the research and production infrastructure is in place. I am a builder after all.
