if he will always want the change to the berserker, why not just have him update the units XML directly? Thats what i do, or did I open a can of worms?

File was succesfully downloaded and WinRAR-ed, but the Berserker combat remains at 8.

After editing, when you re-start CivIV, hold down the 'Shift' button to clear the cache.

You can still upload files! Believe me. Its just that you can't attach them anymore. Look for the little button on the bottom of the page that says 'Upload File.'
