I have a mod request to make for anyone who's interested in making mods for "lulz". I know this should probably be in the mod-request thread, but no one really seems to listen to anyone in that thread anyway, and no one really responds, so, yea. . . It's a mod pack idea I'm particularly interested in, and would be EXTREMELY grateful if someone would help me create this and such since I think it would be a great mod for simply expanding the game play.
This is what Id like to see in the mod pack:
1) Add more important resources that have influenced history, such as cotton.
2) Get rid of all the leader heads, and replace them with one, single avatar that would represent or symbolize the nation somehow; maybe their flag, their capital city, or a picture of their nation from a map, something. I would like to see the leader head system remove because it seems unrealistic to have Abraham Lincoln alive for thousands of years, and also have the same leader once be a king one year, and then be a president the next.
3) Get rid of all prior leader characteristics and either not re-introduce them or replace them with something else more versatile; I don't want to have to be Egyptian just so I can get a mixture of creative and spiritual; I'm sure all nations had a leader that would fit all the possible mixtures.
4) If possible, make it so that these nations start where their capital cities were on (a) earth map(s).
5) Add the ability to focus more/ all of your income into Espionage, Culture and Research, even if they're already at 100%.
6) If possible, make it so that demand treaties can be adjustable instead of always being ten turns; disable the AI from allowing to break treaties.
7) Allow Horsemen and the like to upgrade into units like Tanks instead of just Helicopters.
8) Add a General specialist to the mod instead of just having Great Generals as specialists, and have them with similar, but weaker affects as Great General specialists. Add a Philosopher and Great Philosopher unit to the game; the Philosopher specialist would generate culture and science; the Great Philosopher would do similar as a specialist, but more and they have the ability to either discovering a new civic or allow the player to switch civics without anarchy if you decide to sacrifice them for it.
9) Add all units and technologies from the Next War mod to this mod; add more futuristic, upgraded versions of the present day military units.
10) Add water animals.
11) Add different nationalities of Barbarians in accordance with the area.
12) Possibly haave everyone start out as Barbarian-like until they research Writing, and let all the Barbarian civilizations have the ability to settle and become civilized when they discover a certain technology, such as Writing.
13) If possible, add the ability to able to make space and water colonies with a very large map, with Earth figured like Earth maps; this would only be possible in the future era.
14) If possible, add space and water buildings and units; space and water city workers and robotic workers.
15) Add a function that allows you to control your taxation/ source of income instead of just through civics and buildings; perhaps introduce a new civic system that involved the manipulation of taxation or through a function similar to the Espionage/ Culture/ Research sliders.
16) Add more religions, such as Shintoism, Sikhism, Atheism and a Cult of Personality.
17) Longer research time, but with faster building to give a better feel and experience with eras.
18) Add the option to make a very fast game speed option (like game time limit to about four hours) and a very long game speed option.
