This one is a bit too easy if you just take your initial settler and move to the central parts and settle next to the natural wonder.

Neighborhood gold is a way to get a few thousand gold for free. With the Public Transport card get gold each time you replace a farm with a Neighborhood district. Since you just have to place the district, not actually finish it, it’s basically a huge pile of free gold. Some consider it an exploit. It would actually be fine if they changed the card to give you the gold when you finish the Neighborhood instead of when you place it.

SS + Russia is somewhat geared towards easy CV because OGM gives extra slots. It can be done less than 150,160 turns on standard speed but that's with 8 players. But you do you.

The starting. Note that six-leaves snowflake is a map with

1: No tribal villages
2: No Ley lines
3: Civs are on land while CS are on islands.
4: Feature doesn't reflect latitude (snow and tundra are around the regression lines)

Why are you playing a bugged map as the strongest cultural victory civ? Everything about this setup is massively in your favour.

Not really. He's starting in plains instead of tundra and he can't get Voidsingers without tribal villages. Russia is still strong, though. But so is any civilization if you play well.

Yes, every civ can Lavra spam, right? :crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye::crazyeye:

This game is hilariously biased in his favour:

- Cultural and Russia (Russia was voted number 1 for Cultural Victory).
- Apoc mode on (SEVERELY favours the player).
- Bugged small map which he knows the layout of in advance, while AI does not.
- AI probably taking Hermetic Order even though there are no leylines.

A proper cultural victory test would be:

Maya or Ottomans
Huge map
Continents
SS ON but you take Hermetic Order if Ottomans, or off if Maya.
Apoc OFF

Why? How is intentionally making the game difficult better than rolling with a random civ? And who says that he knows the layout in advance other than that it's the six-arm shape? I doubt that he played the map before.

His goal is to make it harder, which he said in the thread where he set this game up. Instead he has made it much easier, and even randomed the strongest cultural civ and the land claiming one. He wants to prove any civ can do it, but insists on going random, and ends up getting perfect conditions.

As for the map, it is 6-armed snowflake. It is a fixed map, with set resources etc, where rushing to the middle wins the game (and claiming the land, hello Russia). It heavily favours the player over the AI, and is designed for multiplayer.

Yes, he does know the map. In fact, the game is already finished. You can see it here

Full random? Probably not.

T10--As for secret society, scout--settler--warrior--builder is the path to go. A meteor strike occurs, so even if there's no tribal villages, still get Voidsingers.

T20, Jerusalem. Put Amani on it.

Choose Earth Goddess for pantheon. As we're banned to chop, the appeal may be higher.

T30, Suzerain Jerusalem and meet Antananarivo, suzerain Antananarivo and meet Kandy, finally put Amani on Kandy. Chain Suzerain.

T40-- golden classical, choose monumentality and start buying settlers.

T50-- establish religion. This is acro mode so don't choose work ethics. Instead we choose Choral Music, and also the 4-follower-1-science belief. This really yields some science.

Why are the AIs so hostile to me?

T60, Meet all CSs, 4 religious, 1 militaristic, 2 cultural, 2 science, 0 commercial, 0 industrial.

T70, Monumentality again. A barb camp occurred at the north, and military is busy handling that.

With the suppression of Russian cities, the Chinese city of Guangzhou is facing loyalty problems.

T90, so as the Nubian city of Nuri.

Gain some eureka about Square Rigging and Military Science through killing independent city units.

T100, Chengdu, facing loyalty pressure from Guangzhou and Nuri, follows the revolt.

Still have no idea how strength of independent cities are calculated. Chengdu has muskets, but its base strength is only 38, why?

This is the most RIGGED game I have ever seen...

- Russia
- Cultural Victory
- One land mass
- Rigged map which is exactly the same everytime and massively favours the player
- Earth Goddess
- Choral Music with 4 religious CS
- Voidsingers (!) on a map without goodie huts, in which zero AI will end up with it
- Apoc mode

Why is everything rigged in your favour?

Actually, T3 government is achieved quite early-- Communism at T95.

Communism is the best T3 government in Civ6, it is also the best in Civ5(named Order), or Civ4(named State Workforce)

Why is communism so highly praised by Civ developers?
