So, has anyone ever seen the avatar of wrath? Ever? Cuz I got the armaggedon counter to like 170 and he never showed. Does anyone know how high it has to get?

...170? It only goes to 100, at least as far as I know.

Not with the greater evil to good ration included in Fall Further now.

Fall Further doesn't change the way the AC works, it just displays it differently. Normally, the displayed AC is a percentage of the maxmum possible AC, which depends on such factors as map size and number of players. Fall Further displays the "true" and maximum ACs, in addition to the Percent AC. It is still the percent AC that effects AC events. Without knowing the maximum AC, a value of 170 means nothing.

I haven't actually seen the Avatar in a very long time, but I've been mostly playing short test games for my modmod and have rarely played long enough for the AC to get high enough.

In the many games of FfH and Fall Further I've played, I've never seen anything past hell terrain and blight, even while playing as the Sheiam. Thinking of hitting that "End of Days" option or whatever it's called.

I'm glad I missed out on those "good times." I was running a cottage heavy bannor when I decided to see what armageddon was like. I had spawned some 150 demagogues with my world spell, and had quite a time taking care of the enraged ones when he spawned. I can't imagine what it would have been like had they all gone off to be his personal army, small percentage or not...

I know all that. So, let's rephrase my original question. For Fall Further, wat is the maxium AC value and when does the Avatar of Wrath come into play?

Entirely dependent on how many civs their were to start with, i think its 15 times civs+50 is the number thats the total.
BTW nice drow picture

Well, there were 18 civs. So, 18*15+50=320. So, one question answered. Ok, now when would the Avatar of Wrath show up then?

at 320 AC the Avatar of Wrath comes to tuck people into bed :)

Wrath occurs at AC 90(%). Assuming your FF AC calculation is correct, then you would need an AC of 288 to see the Avatar. Your AC is only the equivalent of a 53, so Blight and the basic AC 10 warning are the only AC events that should have triggered (although some random ones like Pestilence may have happened too). You'll need to get a raw AC of 192 to see even the first of the Four Horsemen.

Didn't Vehem make the percent AC show up too, up where it used to before the BtS conversion?

Ok, that makes sense. And I did have a pestilence happen. That one is so annoyin. I always lose population, then never fully regain it all.

I'm guessin that's that lil circular thing near the left top corner by the events log? If so, yes, it's there.

Well, if the old-style Avatar spawned on or near your territory with his massive army, you were pretty much finished. If he spawned far away, preferably on a different continent, it was a lot of fun watching him wipe out your rivals.

Here's an evil question. Has anyone survived the old-style avatar?

He killed me off more than once... never survived...

though once, only me and hyborem were left. (only game where i've seen Hyborem do well)

one continent:

the avatar popped up in the middle of the Ljosalfar lands, while i (as sheim) was in the middle of a war with them. Kurios were my allies, and Ljoslafar had Killed the Sidar while i had taken care of Illians. Hyborem was stuck in the tundra to my south, and was my ally in the war.

of course, the avatar took care of all of that: i lost 2/3 of my army, as did the ljosalfar and the Kurios... and they rampaged throughout the land, raping, pillaging, killing all...

Kurios fell first, followed by ljosalfar, then me.

I survived him once. He popped up safely far away from me, and I managed fight him of. Fortunatly, I had Meshibar of Dis, and while Meshibar died, he weaken The Avatar enough for three of my knights to finish him. The next turn, I found uot that Basium had been collecting Angels throught The Avatars rampage. I didn't survive the Mecurian atttack.

Damn. So, the old Avatar really beat the crap outta everyone. So, new question. Wat are the other horsemen of the apocalypse called?
