So I was playing as Clan of Embers and, after stomping a couple civs inmto submission, I went for a Tower of Mastery win. As scripted, when I start on the Tower of Mastery, everyone declared war on me. So I casually saunter over to Seven Pines, declare world peace, and comfortably ease my way to a victory. Share other ridiculous wins. I love this mod. A toast Kael and gang for making it!

I once had a Sheaim game, Immortal difficulty IIRC, and I was lagging behind badly. Real badly. The AC kept rising and rising as I was devastated by one Horseman after another. When it hits the high 80's / low 90's, I bribe several civs into war with Hyborem, wait a handful of turns and then pop my World Spell. The only race resistant to Worldbreak is taking a pummeling from three separate enemies. These enemies all have their stacks of doom mobilized, which means not in cities. Which means each and every unit in said stacks takes ~90% fire damage. In the smouldering aftermath I declare war on several civs at once and literally triple the size of my empire in less than 20 turns.

Good times. Here's to Kael.

Nice...patience is the name of the Sheaim game.

Couple of days ago, I was playing Amurites on an Erebus map. My starting location was excellent, it had plenty of commerce and a ton of rivers for "Aristofarms". So I got all the basic techs, founded Kilmorph and started bee-lining Firebows to rush my immediate neighbors (Grigori and Calabim). Dain's PHI allowed for a very early Academy and Tablets of Bambur.

I was in a solid position, having pre-built 10+ archers and saved plenty of gold for upgrades. Then, just 2 turns away from Bowyers... I got an unexpected Religious Victory. WTH?! Needless to say I have not committed to spreading my religion at all, at most I built 2-3 disciples to spread it to my cities for happiness. However, it must have spread on its own possibly helped by the fact that nearly everyone (save for Grigori who obviously don't give a damn about religion and Balseraphs who decided to pursue their mad nature by going OO) went RoK.

So yeah, I was actually quite angry as I was expecting some real blood fest (if you played Amurites you will know how awesome Firebows are) and instead ended up with this religious "cheese" victory.

Now I make sure to uncheck the Religious victory condition when setting up a new game.

You know you can play on after victory right?

Well... yeah, but I just felt like starting a new game.

Speaking of Amurites, I had a game where I had cave of ancestors, apprenticeship, and a number of mana nodes where I was able to pump out adepts that could level and be promoted to wizards in one turn. With three fire nodes, i could focus entirely on strength and mobility. Domination victory was easy with stacks of 20+ wizards, a champion, and two firebows a piece.
