Babylon UHV

Anyone have any luck with the Babylon UHV?

I can't seem to have both the highest population AND the highest culture in Babili by turn 86. Either Delhi or Bejing beat me to it.

Some thoughts:

My problem is I have to rush writing otherwise China beats me to it.

One key element I found is to get Animal Husbandry so you can get the shields and extra food from the sheep to make Babili somewhat productive. I just can't seem to make it productive enough to compete with Delhi and Bejing.

I find the -whatstheirface?- the independant states to be quite powerful at times, in addition to the Persians, what I find hard in the Babylonian UHV is the fact that if you pursue it, you'll nearly have to give up on military, and if you do that, the consequenses are bloody
