"Bad" traits

In the spirit of this thread, now I'm going to come up with some "negative" traits. Don't take this too seriously, this is just for fun. ;)

Taxing:
Maximum of 4:commerce: in all tiles.
Half production speed of Bank.

Disloyal:
When other civilizations catch your spies, they keep them as their own. (like worker-stealing)
For each military unit inside others' borders, 2% chance per unit per turn that it defects to that civilization. (It is sent to that civ's nearest city if this happens.)
+1:mad: per building that contributes any :espionage:.

Polluting:
+25% :yuck: from all buildings causing :yuck:.
Cannot build Aqueduct, Hospital, or Recycling Center.

Passive:
-2 EXP points to all military units created.
Other civilizations may declare war while inside your borders and remain there.
Half production speed of Barracks and Dry dock.

Egalitarian:
Cannot use Slavery, Serfdom, Caste System, or Hereditary Rule civics.
Cannot build the Pyramids.
Half production speed of Jail.

Theocratic:
+1:mad: per each city's :religion: that is not the state :religion:.
Must declare a state :religion: if any of your cities has any :religion:.
Theocracy civic does not block the spread of :religion:.
Cannot use Free Religion civic, unless mandated by UN treaty (must vote "No" or "Never!" for it).

Authoritarian:
Cannot use Emancipation, Universal Suffrage, Free Speech, Free Religion, or Representation civics, unless mandated by UN treaty (must vote "No" or "Never!" for them).
Half production speed of Library and University.

Bureaucratic:
+50% civic costs.
Courthouse has no effect on city maintenance costs.
+50% corporation costs.

War-mongering:
-3 relations with all civilizations.
Voting "Never!" on UN resolutions just counts as a "No" vote, but your civilization still experiences the effects of a "Never!" vote, including the :mad: penalty.
 
Genocidal
-5 Relations with all other civs, except others with Genocidal, then only -3 Relations
Cities with non-state :religion: or not 100% your culture -1 population every 3 turns
+5 :mad: from buildings of non-state :religion:

Idiotic
-50% :hammers:
-50% :science:
-50% :health:
-50%:culture:
+50% :yuck:
-50% :food:
-50% :commerce:
Can never pass the Ancient Era

Fat+Lazy
1 Poulation consumes 10 :food: instead of 2
-50% :hammers:
-25% :health:
All units have 1 :move:
 
Passive Aggressive: No bonuses
 
Untactical

Randomly attacks enemy units without checking the combat probablity first.
-50% :strength: when attacking
+50 :gold: per military unit
Wars cost 3 times as much.
+50% war weariness.

Basic Stupidity

Popularity drops some every turn.
-5 diplo with other countries.
+10 :mad: for the lame excuses of your actions.
+50% maintenance cost.
Worldwide economy drops to near depression level if you have Wall Street wonder.


Both are traits possesed by a former president of the USA.:lol:
 
Emo/Shy
If you fail a wonder, you can't talk to any one for 5 turns (including your advisors, becuase they would think bad of you)
Some unit orders don't go through (because they might think bad of you if the orders are dumb)
All melee units get -1 strength a turn (because they like to cut them self)
New specialist, Emo: +1 :mad: for every luxury resource you have and for all :health: you have. Also, random suicides.

Southern
+100 :) with cotton, but all other nations have -10 relation, and you can only get a max of -50 :commerce: a turn, until you need to sell your cotton farm.
Can only build cotton farms, and only build them threw slavery
+5 :mad: per tech researched (and an additional +5 :mad: if its has something to do with work)
+100 :) for one turn with Rifling, but loses it because your vise president shots some guy in the eye

Cult Leader
Cities randomly produce useless things, like workers with toques, that can only play hockey.
Random suicides.
+5 :mad: for :religion:.
+10 :mad: if you have any civic but Cultism, which isn't a Civic yet, but is asking the government for it's own right.
-5 relations when other countries mock your Cult.

A.D.D.
Skips your turn because you need to know what the Big Red Button does, over and over and over...

Available only to sexy animals:lol:
Palace upgraded to Grand Palace.
:drool: or :love: for 50% of your civs population.
:eekdance: or :dubious: for other 50% of population.
+5 diplo with Catherine
+5 :shake:, :confused:, :hmm:, and :( with all other leaders.
Playboy Corporation instantly moves to your civ.
:cry: for whoever had Playboy Corporation.
Production lost making randomly bizarre things.:banana::dance:

Schizophrenic
Production in all cities changes randomly.
May declare war on any civ at any time.

Manic-depressive
Culture rate switches between 100% and 0% regularly (cyle time varies from leader to leader).
Government swiches between Despotism and Police State, similarly.
Can build unlimited Hospitals.
 
Hard Core Gamer
Rage Quits every time you lose a battle, or lose a wonder race.

Noob
Can only build scouts
 
Paranoid:

All civilizations are your worst enemy, and they all get 100% espionage against you. Whenever another civilization is at war with you, all other civilizations get open borders with them. Invading units hide their nationality because they all hate you anyway, so what does it matter? All your cities get +50% science and +50% military units because you are a supreme scientific and military genius.

Aah. I see I was not specific enough. When I said "sexy animals" I did not just mean just female animals.:lol: The Playboy Corporation moves to the civ because the leader is female or because of the :drool:and :love: in the 50% of population if the leader is a guy. The +5 with Catherine is because she either admires or wants you...:mischief:

I hope this ends any further confusion.;)

Nuclear Fanatic
Can build nukes 50% faster.
Will always vote against the no nuke UN resolution.
Stockpiles nukes.
50% chance they just like the idea of them and prefer to use them for intimidation.
50% chance they want to start a nuclear war.

+ 5 :) with Free Religion
Negates effects of University of Sankore, Apostolic Palace, Sistene Chapel, Spiral Minaret, and every other :religion: based building

But the Antichrist is supposed to unite the nations of the world and be accepted as a leader by all the major religions.

Actually, given that the title of Antichrist was thrown at each barbarian leader by early popes, maybe it would make an interesting additional vote for the Apostolic Palace? Choose a leader, if vote passes that leader suffers a relationship penalty with everyone of your religion? [EDIT: of course, the title would change depending on the religion, Antisemitic for Judaism etc]
