I'd do it

So, once again Ann Coulter has opened her giant, hate spouting mouth on national television. You can find the info here:

http://politicalticker.blog...

In short she has said that all Jewish people should be "perfected" to Christianity. Not ok.

We'll give you $1000 if you send us a video of you pelting Ann Coulter with bagels. You've got 1 week. Get moving people. Obviously, be gentle and do not hurt her. This is simply a little bit of fun...not malicious.

Sign up here (http://www.bragster.com/signup) and click disagree in order to join the bet. To win the prize you need to be over 18 and have to post your video in the comment section below.

And we're not paying you to do it, we're paying for the video. It's not our responsibility if you get arrested, sued, stalked by right-wing fanatics or if Coulter lights you on fire.

Thoughts?

Is that even legal? Even with those last two sentences thrown in?

God, when the choice is between whatever spawns out of Coulter's mouth and someone throwing bagels at her, why are people still wondering why people follow Coulter? :shake:

If people complain that she doesn't want to debate and defend her points, why would throwing bagels be any better? Is that the best they could do?

Errr. Why wouldnt a christian want a jew to convert to christianity? I fail to see the problem.

Exactly. If a muslim said the same thing the reaction would be very different. These same people would be stumbling all over them self to applaud and call for more diverse understanding. They also wouldn't dare incite violence against that person.

Why do i think that is bs???

Well, if said Christian follows the bible exactly(contradictions cancel themselves out I guess, not meaning to start a bible thread, lol), it would be religiously correct for a Christian to want to convert a Jew.

To want to convert 1 jew, not so bad.

To say that they all should convert, that's just ignorant.

Well, from the agnostic/ slightly atheist point of view I old, it is quite ignorant. From a religious standpoint though, it isn't.

You can't be slightly atheist.

No its not. Do you think Jesus came to save just a select few...or the whole world?

Warpus, the only thing ignorant here is your knowledge of christianity. As a christian, I most certainly wish everyone would declare Jesus Christ as lord and savior. Its kind of one of the base tenets of the religion, in case you didnt know.

It should read Do you think Jesus allegedly came to save just a select few...or the whole world?

Are we really going to get into such a fight about "allegedly" or not? In the context of people discussing their own beliefs, there's nothing alleged about it. It's there. And it's pretty irrelevant to the thread.

No...it shouldnt...especially since we are discussing christian themes and christians dont 'allegedly' believe this.

Try thinking out of your box for once and increase your tolerance a bit. It might actually result in a meaningful discussion.

Ask a Calvinist!

Says the poster who has no problem with wealth, doesn't support the nation (a supposedly Christian nation) turning the other cheek, doesn't follow the golden rule (Luke 6:27-36) and doesn't seem to have a problem judging, in spite of Jesus' own words 'judge not lest ye be judged'

Try rereading the Sermon on the Mount.

When preachers give up all that big money they make i might listen to them. When they stop saying one thing and doing another thing i might listen to them. When they love thy enemy as themself, I might listen to them. But as of right now i would rather go to hell when i die then to hear another "bible thumper" talk about how "good" "god" is!

Says the poster who has no problem with wealth,

If you think this, you havent been listening.

doesn't support the nation (a supposedly Christian nation) turning the other cheek

Thats a personal issue.....not a national one. I dont support turning the USA into a theocracy either...do you?

doesn't follow the golden rule (Luke 6:27-36)

Actually, I do my best to live it every day. Perhaps you want to consider that plank in your own eye prior to pointing out the splinter in mine.

and doesn't seem to have a problem judging, in spite of Jesus' own words 'judge not lest ye be judged'

I have never sat in judgement over a persons soul. Have you?

Try rereading the Sermon on the Mount.

My mens group just finished a very in-depth study of it led by my pastor not long ago. You need some pointers on it?

Oh..and I know you love me and all, but this thread isnt about me, so by all means stop the personal posts...the mods frown on it anyway. Try sticking to the topic.
