Warpus, the only thing ignorant here is your knowledge of christianity. As a christian, I most certainly wish everyone would declare Jesus Christ as lord and savior. Its kind of one of the base tenets of the religion, in case you didnt know.

Not exactly. Most christians I know are more than happy to respect your choice, but sharing the gospel with as many people as possible to give them the chance to hear Jesus message is the base tenet. The hope is that the lost are saved from hell by choosing Jesus. Its not meant to be insulting...its meant to be an expression of love.
