While I know that this is Alpha, I found problems with the balance.

The early techs were really cheap, when, suddenly, I was having serious problems keeping up with the AI.

Carthage was way too powerful. They destroyed half the civs in the game, and vassalized two other civs that were very powerful as well; Babylon and Israel, and they also vassalized the Huns.

And that brings me to my next rant. The Huns have no power. It was me against Athens, and they destroyed most of my units within the first five turns. Maybe you could make some way for them to train units, like in the Warlords scenario "Genghis Khan" where they had the Ger unit that could pop out horse archers if you had it on sleep.

So, there are a lot of problems with the balance. It's a great mod, but it would be a whole lot better if these were fixed.
