Apologies if this has been discussed already. I tried searching and didn’t find it.
I destroyed a camp that was RIGHT about to turn into a city state - basically I beat it by one turn, I didn’t want it there since it was so close to a city of mine. And still the next turn it turned into a city state and pushed me off that tile. There was one unit still there next to the spot that I hadn’t killed yet but that was because I was in a hurry to get rid of the camp first because I knew it was about to turn into a city state and be right up on my turf. Version 1.4.7 iOS. This is the first time it’s happened to me but could just be coincidence.
