Just completed my first playthrough of the scenario and had a lot of fun. The clock ticking until the invasion, the ever increasing hostility of the tribes, my own mismanagement of my empire leading to lots of rebels...it felt like I spent every turn on the edge of my seat.
Streams of barbarians throwing away their lives to my fortified forts protected by siege. The town to the north I forgot about that got overrun and razed. Constantly running out of orders and having a couple units just sit there staring at the enemy because I couldn't tell them what to do. It plays a lot differently than a normal Old World game, but in a good way.
I'm kind of curious now if it's possible to beat the scenario in conjunction with OCC
