Barbarians....... Make the game too easy?

My best games are def when the computer is hamstrung by barbarians, although they can be no joke and slow down the player as well.

Yeah. In IV barb prevention was all about fog busting. I definitely prefer having a camp or city to hunt down.

In V and VI it is the same, if you fog bust no camps.

Right, you can do that too. It's just nice having a source to eradicate rather than having to plant units all over unsettled land.
