Basic Modding Question

I lived in Japan for a while, and like to play as the Japanese sometimes as a result. A pet peeve of mine is that they have a capital city of Edo, and then the 3rd default city name (I think it's 3rd) "Tokyo." Tokyo and Edo are the same place... Edo was renamed to be Tokyo. I found a file that I thought contained default city names and removed the Tokyo line, but when I started up a new game, up came Tokyo. Anyway, please let me know the correct way to remove a default city name.

You have to change the name in the CIV4CivilizationInfos XML file. But if you have Warlords you have now two files like that , one in CIV IV and one in Warlords folder... You have to change the one in Warlords...
