Where France experimented with Line Infantry for the first time here (?) giving musketeers plug bayonet. De Conde forgot to bring in pikemen here yet he did decisively defeated Spanish Tercio.

Both of the two iterations featured French heavy uses of cavalrymen. particularly cuirassiers and pistoliers. Personally I don't think French forgot to use Pikemen in this battle. Royal French Army still use Pike and Shot until the final years of 17th Century. i've found something that by this time French had introduced 'Regiments' system against Spanish Tercio and they've won here.

No idea, but I'm guessing the visualization made in ETW is more 'accurate' as the first one has to obey movie-logic, while the ETW one is probably made by someone who believes they know a lot about the battle.
