Beating Immortal with Egypt

Trying to do it. I have Egypt set up in America on Earth map. So I just need tips and pointers to get a victory with them? Im Isolated. Only person near me is Gajah Mada in South America. So any help please? Does it matter where I am in score? Bc Im always near the bottom. Highest I got is to 4th place

Unless you are going for a domination victory, there shouldn't be hardly any differences using Egypt versus any other civ, except for Venice. Being isolated means you need in North America means you need to get sailing and visit as many other civs and CS's as soon as possible, so you can have allies and people to trade with. If a standard sized map, it is possible to do this as soon as you get triremes by crossing from Alaska to Russia.
