Been thinking of trying a small-scale mod

Essentially it would be the Peloponnesian war, but on a map of the entire Greek world. Naturally this means that Greece itself would be schematic:

The point is to have the player try to do what really happened, that is attack the colonies and not the heavily fortified mainland. Not sure if the computer will cope though.

I started working on the map and mod today, so have just this still for the time being.

IIRC the Civ Multi-Tool has the ability to crop maps. You could perhaps find a suitable large map with Greece featured and then crop away any areas you don't need.

That looks like it will be a beautiful huge map. Although remember bigger does not always mean better. 31 civs would realy slow turn times down, so think carefully if some civs would not add too much to the game play and might be omitted. Out of curiosity, which civs did you have in mind?

Well i faced a fatal error with the map, it CTD when i clicked on Macedonia ( ), so i created a new one, this time with bmptobic:

Greece is in fact larger in this one, and i think it has all areas that are needed.

Just from looking at the mini-map this new map looks a whole lot better.
