;) Your Christmas Gift

Instructions:

Spoiler :

List of Civilizations

List of Unique Units

Unique Buildings

Unique Improvements

e.g My Personal Best Civilization

UA: Phoenican Heritage (Carthage)
UU: Cho-ko-Nu (China)
UU: Companion Cavalry (Greece)
Start Bias: Forest, Coast

Strategy [Optional]

Gameplay Style: Tall and Warrior; Wide and Warrior ; ICS; OCC.
Favourite General Strategy: REX untill Classical Era, Warmongering in Classical Era - Medieval Era, Wonder Builder, Win; Dominate
Favourite Strategy [More Detailed]: Research The Weel and Expand to 4-6 Coastal Cities in Ancient/Classical Era using the :c5gold: from Trade Routes. Build some Companion Cavalrys and Start Taking your Neighbours. In Medieval Era start Building Cho-Ko-Nus and do the Same. Puppet most of the Cities you Capture. Probably by Renainscence you will have Cho-Ko-Nus to defend your Civilization and have a prosper large empire and huge soms of :c5gold: Gold.
Most Suitable Map: Continents; Pangea.
Most Suitable Social Policy Branches: Tradition-Honor/Liberty- Rationalism-Order
Most Suitable Beliefs: Pantheon Belief - Messenger of the Gods;
Founder Belief- Tithe; Iniciation Rites
Follower Belief- Holy Warriors
Enchancer Belief - Religious Texts;
Second Follower Belief - Religious Community; Divine Inspiration

Korea's scholars of the jade hall
Aztec's floating gardens
Ethiopia's Stele

Strategy: Stack growth bonus, abuse specialists and freedom tree.

China's art of war
Mongolia's Khan
England's Longbowmen

Strategy: Tech up to Longbowmen, use +1 range, 30% damage, and 25hp per turn. Clear map.

Austria's diplomatic marriage

Strategy: Pay a small amount of gold for an instant expansion with no diplo hit and a handful of military units given free.

Korean UA
Mayan Pyramid
Siamese Wat

Now you can use tanks to attack spearmen and get the Apollo Program done when others are still in Medieval Era. Also, you get free Wats AND FREE TECHS from Legalism.

Anyone enjoy playing this civ? ;)

UA: Mongol Terror
UU: Japanese Zero
UU: Korean Hwacha

UA: Patriarchate of Constantinople
UU: Pictish Warrior
UB: Stele

Religion overkill.

UA: Achaemenid Legacy
UU: Caroleans
UU: Panzers

A civ specializing in Industrial+ warfare, with the UA being able to cover its defiencies while in the ancient ages. Freedom would work best with this warmonger powerhouse... especially the Right to Eternal Golden Ages

:D

Archaemenid legacy
Floating Gardens
Cho Ku Nu's
Start Bias: Lakes
3 shot gatling guns yes please.

Is it possible to implement a start bias that would surround the initial Settler with impassable terrain? :D

EDIT: Probably it is possible to have a Coastal and Forest start bias as they are defined in different rows (Civilization_Start_Along_Ocean)

Nope, still impossible. The four different rows for the bias are all mutually exclusive. So if you set them as ocean, it would override and cancel all other biases. (Ocean bias overrides river which overrides region priority which overrides region avoid). You can however set multiple start biases in each each category. So you can give a civ both a grassland and a forest preference. However, this works more as a backup system; if it can't place you in forest it will try to place you in grass.

UA: Ancien Reigme
UU: Longbowman
UI: Moai
Bias: Ocean

For turtling and running a great culture game. Polynesia in general is my favorite civ, and the Moai is one of the reasons why. Moai get culture being placed near each other, and if you expand near the shoreline, this will snowball into a beautiful chain on culture. Ancien Reigme also makes city produce base culture on their own, which will add more to the runway of culture. Finally, Longbowmen round out as my favorite UU in the game. Really, almost any UU could fit here, but this is my civ so Longbows.

My ideal would probably end up being:

UA: Patriarchy of Constantinople (Byzantium)
UU: Longbowman (England)
UB: Pyramid (Maya)

I like to play the religion game, and the UA/UB is mixing the best of both worlds when it comes to religious civs. The Longbowman is my favorite UU to use for conquest, so I threw it in there.

UA: Siberian Riches (Russia)
UB: Bazaar (Arabia)
UU: Conquistador (Spain)

Double Strategics, Double Luxes, and Intercontinental City Spam. Truly frightening.

UA: Patriarchate of Constantinople
UU: Pictish Warrior
UB: Stele

Religion overkill.
I'd personally prefer:

UA: Patriarchate of Constantinople
UB: Stele
UB: Pyramid (Mayan)

(Yeah I know that no existing civ has two UB's). The Pictish Warrior ain't bad, but I'm more of a builder and I don't like it when UU's go obsolete.

With Stele + Pyramid, you can get insane amounts of faith early on....

UA: Sun Never Sets (England)
UU: Ship of the Line (England)
UU: Sea Beggar (Netherlands)

I'M ON A BOAT
Actually, I'd go with:

UA: Sun Never Sets (England)
UU: Dromon (Byzantium)
UU: Ship of the Line (England)

Early Dromons with Sun Never Sets is pretty sick. Eventually promoting them to Ship of the Lines (though Galleas are kinda crappy) is super strong, especially since they will already be heavily promoted by the time they become Ships of the Line.

I'd personally prefer:

UA: Patriarchate of Constantinople
UB: Stele
UB: Pyramid (Mayan)

Since there are no civs with 2 UBs ingame I decided to put the Pictish Warrior there to continue the religious flavor.

You know, it would have been cool if the Byzantines got some sort of Unique Great Prophet (like Mongolia's Khan) or a UU Missionary. Much better than that stooopid Cataphract.... :crazyeye:
