Anti-Capitalists need not reply!!!:)

I think that the Nike commercial, featuring the constant motion of sport, is by far the best commercial I have seen lately.

Just do it.;)

The "He shoots, he scores" Canadien Hockey commercial is pretty cool too...

I don't think you necessarilly need to be anti-capitalist to detest the flagrant dishonesty, truth twisting and misrepresentation advertising bombards the public with. But from an artistic, comedic and creative viewpoint...

I like the Mountain Dew commercial with the ram, the dude, and the bottle of Dew. Funny stuff

I can imagine the drink has about the same effect on health as charging headfirst into several inches of dense bone. But hey, it tastes like liquified sugar so who cares :)

I also like any commercial with very attractive women in it. You may not agree with the message, but the mode can get a standing ovation from at least one member in the crowd

It seems commercials for alcoholic beverages are better than most other commercials. Especially radio commercials.

"It's great when you go camping with your friends and enjoy the great taste of an ice cold Miller Light. Then one of your friends has to go and ruin Miller Time by throwing your hot dog to a wolf.
Ok, first of all, that was your only hot dog. Second, wolves run very fast, and when they catch you, they want more hot dogs. But what are you going to do when the wolf finds out you don't have anymore hot dogs?! Now, you're going to have to let the wolf eat you instead of a hot dog!"

 Yeah. But I can't think of any good TV commercials. :(

Here...here.

And that is probably my favorite commerical too!!

The Taco Bell one where a bunch of office workers march down to taco bell, singing some funny ass song the whole way

The EDS "Cat herders" one had me rolling on the ground.

Of recent vintage (i.e., this year's Super Bowl) i liked the Budweiser commercial with the beer retrieving falcon and the Visa "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" commercial.

You guys watch commercials?
Seriously......

I think remote controls were invented to change channels once a commercial comes on. At least, that's what I use those things for.:D

The average commercial is much better written than the average tv show, and has all it best lines pack into 30 or 60 seconds.

Even though I am American the Molson "I Am. Canadian." commercials are my fav. Great play on nationalism to get people to buy beer. ;)

Also, the Superbowl commercial with the Budweiser Clydesdale horses bow their heads near ground zero in New York was especially emotional for me.

I hated the Pepsi-Brittney Boobs commercials.

Good ones of Superbowl: Quiznos, Bud Light, The Truth (Anit-Cigarette Smoking)

Ok ads: Blockbuster, kind of funny, but not up with previous Superbowl standards (although this Superbowl the standard has seemed to be lowered).

Sorry Commercials: E-Trade, Lipton Brisk, and Cadillac (don't like the new cars, nothing like the new Thunderbird, that is one sweet car!), M-Life (They had me going but it is just damn cell phone service), Levi's made me question life (not), National Drug Control (I don't believe that users are the only problems, laws also), and Philip Morris (there commercial telling children not to smoke seemed aimed at getting them to smoke!).

Overall the Superbowl kept me more entertained which is an opposite of norm.,

I am a commercial man and feel the loss of www.adcritic.com .

I don't watch TV, but I listen to the radio a lot. I wish there were someplace that listeners could give feedback to companies about their commercials. For instance, the Epson printer commercials with their stupid musical analogies "If your document were a song, it would sound like this..." are all so completely lame that I will switch the channel rather than listen to the commercial. This is hurting the advertiser and the station, and there should be a way to let them know it.

Some commercials, while good the first hundred times or so, are overplayed to the point of boring us to death. The Miller Lite commercials are a good case in point. They were funny the first time. After hearing them ten times a day for two months, they're not funny any more. And that sign-off at the end, "This is Will Farrell..." maybe I've been living in a cave, but I've never heard of this Will Farrell guy before. Am I supposed to know him from somewhere?

Ahh, I forgot Budweiser adverts!

"Budweser salutes you, Mr. nudist colony activity co-ordinator!
You think of fun things to do naked, most of wich involve bouncing, or jiggling!
So, Mr. nudist colony activity co-ordinator, this Bud's for you."

A little OT but to answer your question Will Farrell is a current actor on Saturday Night Live.

Budweiser has had a long running series of hilarious commercials. I much enjoyed their latest one with the "how ya' doin'?" Italian guys in a bar with their latest edition, a cowboy Texan.

But not thirty minutes ago as I was watching TV I saw this propaganda commercial for some group that wants the U.S. to back out of the U.N. They have this long winded spiel about American freedoms being attacked from within and then they show the U.N. using a solarizing trick so it looks all evil. Then they go on about how everyone should know what the U.N. really does and America should burn the U.N.

The thing was so stupid I was rolling.

The real american heroes commercials are definately good stuff.

My current favorite is the Kevin Bacon one. By itself it is mediocre, but after all the other visa identity commercials and the fact that I have played the Kevin Bacon game, it is priceless.

When talking commercials though, a nod has to be given to Bob Eucker. Those were just classic.

As far as Pepsi and Britney, I just turn the sound down and focus on the main character. Dumb commercials, but I can't say I get nothing from them.;)

I take it you are referring to the comparative merits of the cola drink in terms of what you get from it, as I can't imagine anything else of interest there.

Well no, I suppose YOU wouldn't.;) Actually I don't like cola at all. I'm a 7-up, Sprite, and Mountain Dew man myself, on the rare occasions that I drink a carbonated beverage other than beer.

I was refering to the bounciness of the.....dance steps. Yeah that's what I'm paying attention to! :D
