Hi to everyone!

I am new to Civ4 gaming - I started my Civ experience with Civ V already out and played Civ V extensively for years.

Only recently I tried CIV 4 and it was a really refreshing experience for me - especially RFC and DOC, which really blown me away.

Now I have started playing several other mods and I am delighted with the number of options, honestly :)

One particular feature that sounds fantastic to me is Revolution component - I read it can cause all sorts of issue with AI, yet it sounds very interesting and right thing for general issue of runaway civs in any civilization game?

Which of currently alive mods have best implemented and most functional revolutions option?

Thanks in advance!

Since Revolutions is a very complex modcomp mods often merge but don't change it. It's very delicate material, so Rev itself is more or less the same in every mod - at least I didn't notice significant differences.
So basically you can and have to consider the other features of the mods that have merged Rev.

I also love Rev (despite all its flaws), so while it isn't mandatory but optional in my mod I make my changes with Rev in mind.

I found History Rewritten's implementation well balanced and beautifully synergetic with K-mod. Realism Invictus recently imported some K-mod features too, but you always struggle with happiness there, so I'd expect mayhem with revolutions on.

OK, i did not try Hisyory Rewritten, will do.

When you say "synergistic with K-Mod" does that mean I must install that one separately?

No, it's included there like in many other mods. K-mod makes cities output culture up to 3 tiles away from cultural border in logarithmic regression to 10% of original value.
