Best Use=Great General

What do you guys usually do with that Great General unit? I was thinking it's best to either build a Military Academy or become a great military instructor?

Yep, that's the best for them unless you really need a warlord.

Hehe, to true usually I go for an academy or an instructor, but warlords have saved my ass many times when the enemy is pushing trough my borders and I need a last stand army to break them

It depends on the city, If it has good production, then Ill settle him. Coastal cities i prefer an Academy first, then stack up instructors.

Keep your warriors from the start of your game (I keep them in the Capital) and then make Great Generals, the free upgrades are the best part

Build a super medic and then academies/instructors in my production cities.
