Better Espionage Screen
Compatible with Rise and Fall

Introduction

This is my third UI mod (after Better Trade Screen and More Lenses). The main purpose is similiar to the other two, to add Quality of Life features and improve the Civlization VI UI. Here the Espionage Screens are overhauled to reduce the number of clicks and find the right information quickly.

Features

Filter Options:
  • Allows you to filter the cities based on their districts. So for example you wanted to select a city with Spaceport and Industrial Disctrict, check both their respective checkboxes, and any cities that do not have those districts will be hidden.
  • You can also filter based on civilizations.
  • Holding CTRL while checking a box, deselects all other boxes.

Side Panel:
Mission list is shown as a side screen, rather than replacing the destination list.

Installation
Just extract the mod to your Mods folder. For most users it is located here: Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Mods

Compatibilty
This mod is compatible with most mods out there. Special attention needs to paid to UI mods. Any mod that edits the following files will not be compatible:

EspionageSupport.lua
EspionageOverview.lua
EspionageOverview.xml
EspionageChooser.lua
EspionageChooser.xml

Of course. But the translators might need to add their own respective translations.
 
I have BES enabled on my latest game and noticed that after successful missions my spies are not gaining any levels nor promotions. I receive the message that they've leveled up and that I can select a promotion, but when the spy returns to my city...nothing. They simply stay at Recruit. I'm not at all familiar with LUA, but is it possible there's something here that's preventing the leveling up and promotions from displaying/triggering?
 
@astog Haven't tried this since before the summer patch, but wanted to ask before I subscribed again on steam whether BES is working correctly to your knowledge after the Fall Update?

(p.s. Thank you so much for updated BTS & More Lenses already - they're two of my favs!)

I love you, your mods are the best thing in Civ VI. One observation, sometimes i found myself pillaging spaceports and i waste a lot of time checking all spaceports to see which one i can pillage, so my request is can you add a feature that changes the district icon when this district is pillaged? Thank you again!

That is a great suggestion. I'll see if I can incorporate that.
 
Oh awesome, I've been waiting on this, much appreciated my dude. Woo, BRS, BTS, and now this, the game is finally nearly at full strength again!
 
I've had to turn this mod off since the latest patch as it blocks the espionage screen from opening at all. Looking forward for an update. Same thing happens with your other essential Better Trade Screen mod too.
