What did the modded version you saw look like?
The screenshot you posted is of the default, un-modded version, and I can't think of any mods off the top of my head that change this.

At the moment, CQUI is broken with the newest patch. But if you just head over to the CQUI thread I'm sure you can find screenshots...

I've had it since the game was released. What seems to happen is that if I had, say, 8 pins at some point and deleted enough to fall below that, then future pins will overwrite the oldest remaining pin by default *but still make a new (blank) pin*. So now I have to go back and edit both pins. Its quite frustrating.

I believe NQUI has a version of this without the improvements but with wonders. Also very useful.
