Better search engine than Google?

Is there anyone, good at international sites too? I checked a few meta-engines, but they were very poor at non-english sites...

Google and Bing are the only good search engines.

Yahoo search will be fully powered by Bing within the next year or so, if it isn't already... like I said in my previous post, there really aren't any search engines that have anything on Google and Bing.

I usually only use other search engines when Im doing in-depth research on something. And I mean really in-depth like on the forbidden subject.

*old man voice* In my day I liked Excite, Hotbot, Lycos....

Ha, I was about to recommend Cuil, but I just see the company went belly-up.

So really, you got Google. Bing is alright but works best if you're in the US.

EDIT: Apparently Lycos is still around. Maybe give that a shot.

There used to be a metasearch called Dogpoop or something like that but I dont know if its still around. When I google it I dont get anything.
