Beyond The Sword : Patch_319 Installation Bug

It's not really an in-game bug and I don't know if this is the right place to post this but :
1. I downloaded Patch_319 (1st online connection, got the game 3 weeks ago)
2. I installed it with Setup Wizard, passed all the steps (license agreement, newsletters stuff)
3. When I hit Install, there is the hourglass icon but it doesn't install, the window doesn't turn black, it just stays in the same state (Your installation is nearly complete blablabla) and when I open Windows Task Manager it says that the program is not responding.

Can someone help???

try downloading it from the downloads database here and install it from outside the game.
Is this windows XP or Vista?
Is this the CD/DVD version of the game or a digital (i.e. download) one?

Hyperion96...did you get it to work? And if so, what did you do?

This is exactly the same as what happened to me. You should try installing 3.17 first.

Sorry it's a bit late but I totally forgot about this thread.
I know that I should install 3.17 first but when I tried to install some months ago I had the same problem.
I think that it's the Windows Setup apps which has a problem but I can't find what it is. I have the installation screen and everything but when I click Install the program freezes and it ends up being "Not Responding".
I'm gonna try to install it from the database as you suggested ori and will see what happens
EDIT: I downloaded 3.17 from the forum and the installation worked so I suppose that it is gonna work for 3.19 too.
EDIT2: The installation for BTS 3.19 worked too.

Yea Im having same problem too! Different though. I already had Civilization IV downloaded. And i couldnt find just Beyond the Swords expantion pack without buying the Complete Edition. It installed and all but the problem is that the Colonization Installed but not the Expantion Packs for Civilization IV! IDK what to do, I restarted my computer 3 times and i kept on going into the world Editor mode and started games and all to c if it had downloaded..............NOTHING!! So if you could please reply to this quote it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

most likely it installed all 4 - how are you trying to start the games?
