Biden is well set to win re-election next year. With how Republican party is like right now there is no way for him to lose unless something terrible happens to him or Democrats within 1 year. It would seem both US and UK will go liberal next year.
he will win better than he did 2020. Trump is facing charges and Desantis campaign is dying... Joe will win as long as he isn't facing any major scandal
Trump has to get convicted by then afaik.he will win better than he did 2020. Trump is facing charges and Desantis campaign is dying... Joe will win as long as he isn't facing any major scandal
Why is being 80 is a problem?
And yet Biden is doing much better than DeSantis... who is much younger than him.1. Your cognitive capabilities begin declining multiple decades before you turn 80
2. You grew up in a completely different time and can't relate to the people who are growing up today at all
3. You worked your day job career many decades ago and can't relate to the people who are trying to make ends meet today at all
4. Your moral compass was finetuned multiple generations ago. You are out of touch with the rest of the country to some degree.
5. You could break bones and/or get worse injuries just by falling over.
6. A leader who is close to death doesn't seem like a good idea. Having to replace a leader who died creates instability
6 problems just off the top of my head. The main one is that the younger and working classes are experiencing huge problems. Ideally the person leading the recovery should have some sort of connections to issues like that and some first hand experience with what they are going through.
And yet Biden is doing much better than DeSantis... who is much younger than him.
And would you say DeSantis relates to younger generation much better than Biden?
Honestly, I know very little about American politics aside from the fact that they are insane. Isn't DeSantis the fascist from Florida? My left sock could do a better job than him, from what I've heard.
All I'm saying is that an 80+ year old leader is a bad idea. Surely there's better candidates out there.
Why are we letting super old farts run this planet? We need younger leaders in office, not 70+ year old geezers who couldn't walk 100m without collapsing. Yes, I realize that in the U.S. you don't really have much of a choice, even though it's supposed to be the land of the free. But nevertheless I retain my right to voice my opinion on the insanity of voting for someone who is already 80, even a year before the election (or whenever it is)
I usually vote strategically, I am sort of forced to. I would almost never vote for somebody who is going to be 85 when they finish their term, if they even last that long.. Whichever party put that candidate in place should do better.
80 year old vs Trump. Kinda easy choice. Biden could go smile and drool and poop his pants, do nothing and stll do a better job.
Definitely. You couldn't convince me to vote for somebody like Trump no matter how hard you tried.
But like.. Traitorous psychopath.. VS 85 year old geezer..
These are the options? Of course Biden is actually a semi-competent leader and of course in comparison to Trump, Biden is amazing.. but I mean, my senile grandmother would be an obvious choice over Trump as well.
Aren't Americans annoyed that the Democrats are giving them such crappy candidates? I realize that the bar is set so incredibly low, but c'mon. Let's get some younger leaders in place. Not too young. Can't they be in the 40-55 range at least? Why is the only reasonable candidate you can vote for almost dead?
