I am upgrading the mod with new flavor and features for fans of Asia as I noticed I overlooked India in particular. It will accompany what I believe will be a major overhaul of the mod. In particular I will be adding graphics for:

New Early Future Age units:

-Stealth Destroyer
-Arsenal Ship

New Indian/Southeast Asian Units:

-Golden Spearman
-Golden Archer
-Golden Swordsman

New Indian Only Units:

-Tribal Fanatic
-Chakra Thrower
-Chakra Elite Thrower
-Bengal Lancer
-Bengal Cavalry

New East Asian Wonders:

The Artisans' District: Small Wonder Will give a production bonus similar to the Great Ironworks wonder.

Changdeokgung: Functions as a third palace. Also is a Tourist attraction.

Ise Shrine: Gives happiness bonuses. Tourist attraction.

Kyoto Imperial Palace: Places a barracks in the city that builds it, makes people happy in the city that it resides in.

The Kokufuji Pagoda: Increases the effectiveness of temples.

More Coming.....

You'd be welcome to use the various Indian units that I created for my mod; if you check, you'll see that there's probably about half-a-dozen.

I'm still in the process of making more Asian buildings. If you need more buildings and ideas for expanding the East Asian aspect, feel free to ask. :)

Sounds good! I'll have to give Heart of Destiny a try if I can find the time. I've only played Far Horizons once, ages ago, as the Toltecs.

Mod has come quite a far way since the Far Horizon days, alot for good but some sacrifices have had to be made(namely civ choices) but I have this weird problem with map sizes, cant play anything beyond tiny or small(havent tried standard in awile) without it taking an eternity to load lol...

Alright more progress:

1. Gallic units added for England
2. Slavic units added for Poland and Russia
3. Number of units renamed to more historical names.
4. new future units added, like the Synthetic Infantry
5. new flavor units for china, 19th century to WW2.

My plans are adding in more naval units for the future era, more flavor units for the ancient age, more flavor units of the early gunpowder periods, early 19th century, late 19th century, World Wars, and add the Advanced Synthetic Infantry.

Have you made a final decision on Asian wonders? I will be releasing two new ones soon. ;)

still need some recommendations on some. For example, I need an asian version of Smith's trading company, as the east asian civs did alot of big trading too and I want to represent that. China especially got real rich if If i'm not mistaken.

The Silver Trade. It was one of the reasons China became the world's largest economy for much of pre-industrial history. The Chinese exported luxury goods such as silk, tea, and porcelain and demanded silver from those that wanted these goods. Europeans sought silver in the New World to increase their trade with China since the Chinese would not take anything else the Europeans had to offer. Japan also was one of the world's largest producers of silver before the Spanish acquired Mesoamerican and Andean mines. The Silver Trade was a key catalyst for East-West trade as well as the conditions that set the stage for European exploration and expansionism.

Not yet. But I can get to making some graphics if you like.

What about Opium? ;) England couldn't comeup with silver they needed to satisfy the tea trade. Infact like you said, China wanted nothin they had to offer so whiteman introduced something they would surly never have enough off.

Opium even today can make Gov a tidy profit in backdoor deals Sometimes its needed for the goodguys to sell dope if it prevents the 'badguys' from reaping in the enourmous profits instead.

SoG you say overlooked India, well all mod have overlooked opium and I think they were the supplier of this plant under British colonial rule

I have overlooked India wonderwise but I lack spaces for wonders I only have a few spaces left on my sheet...

Taj Mahal is the only Indian wonder I have in the mod right now. I'd have others, but I lack the space, plus theres the fact that India would be the only civ able to build the wonders, giving them an enormious advantage, unless of coarse I let Khmer and Thailand also build them.
