Big Rivers - Mod

    always felt rivers played a bigger role in civilizations than what the game represents.

    Some were not passable by armies- others had great resources - a few are even accessible by ships. Not to mention deltas and the fact that rivers can be named.

    Couldn't find a mod that represents rivers a bit better

    I completely agree with you. Rivers must be natural barriers. Fords could be implemented

    Rivers are the basis to most of the great cities and civilizations of the world. It's difficult to think of any major city that isn't along a major river. Rivers facilitated efficient transportation and trade. A mod that capitalized on this would be amazing. In the base game the only benefit for a existing alongside a river as far as I know is increased housing.

    Yeah! I completly agree! To have the vikings as one of the launching civs and not giving them one of their mayor advantages during the middle ages... I can't understand it...
