I just stayed up all night trying to fix my 18 white flags and now I am down to 3 black flags. Here is the catch. I have MSPAINT to work with. I have downloaded DXTBmp as well as DDS converter 2.

I have the bad ronald flag mod, and something happened that turned them white. I used a template from a member on the forums and copy/pasted the images into the new template. This fixed 15 of the 18 flags. I now have 3 flags that will not show up right. (image)

I dont know what to do anymore. The original files from the mod show up white. If I use the template that got the others working they show up black. Please someone help me get the flags working, I am almost done and am spent. I have done the 0>1 thing. and also tried 1>0

France:
Primary Color: Dark Blue
Secondary Color: Yellow

Mali:
Primary Color: brownish *personalized*
Secondary Color: Black

England:
Primary Color: White
Secondary Color: Red

From left to right is France (Blue|White|Red) - Mali (Green|Yellow|Red) - UK.

Thanks in advanced.

I just downloaded the GIMP tonight. I am very unfamiliar with it and also very rusty using software like this. I havent used photoshop for at least 8 years. :crazyeye: That seems weird but nonetheless true. Anyways, is there a good tutorial on the gimp and/or alpha channels so that I can get a better grasp on this?

My tools so far:
-DDS converter 2
-DXTBmp
-GIMP

I admit I am on a low end system for graphics but I have a hard time believeing it is my machine when the other flags seem to work ok.One thing I found odd, is if I open my american flag using DXTBmp and edit the picture in paint and reload it then save it as a UK.dds (england's file directory) and substitute it, it still becomes black. So at least this means the problem is not in the flag template itself or the alpha. (see picture.) The black/red cross is just the US flag modified in paint. But never touching the alpha.

EDIT: It seems like it is pulling my secondary color into the equation for some reason. Is there a way to bypass this somehow? This will fark up my color scheme. :( It seems like the default background of the flag is the secondary color. If I could set the default to the primary color it sould work I would think. I really like having england be the color white. ><
