There should be some nice deals this year once again, so use this thread to crow about whatever catches your eye like the 70 inch T.V.s.

Sadly, many electronics are simply sold out. (Playstation 5 :()

I'm keeping an eye on a computer upgrade (not cpu or graphics card, those are all sold out too).

The 970 Evo Plus solid state hard drive has really come down in price this year.
I want to get the 2TB version.

It isn't PCI-E 4.0, but I don't need bleeding edge, I need solid.

$249 is pretty good!

It will of course be a bit too slow to put in any future PS5 expansion, but should be perfect for a computer build that makes no noise.

Black Friday sucks, cause it means some (hopefully not most) of those who buy my seminar this month will get it 40% off. That is a serious money loss for me & there's no way the record from last month (almost 700 euros) will be repeated as personal income from the seminar.

And while in theory the filmed part of the new seminar will start/complete in December, I am not very sure if that will happen. I hope it will, cause it means an extra 500 euros for the completion.

I’ve been waiting months for certain purchases and none of it is going on sale. I’m trying to get a subwoofer, an audio plugin that takes harsh resonances, and software that routes sound through my computer differently (like I could send chrome to zoom while Spotify to my speakers).

Already ordered an M1 Mac.

Building a new desktop with an AMD APU, but since AMD decided not to release any Zen 2 based APUs at retail, I have all the other parts, waiting for AMD to release an APU I can buy. Have PCIe 3.0 SSDs, and if AMD delays until a PCIe 4.0-compatible CPU, I'll probably sell one of my PCIe3 SSDs without even opening to get a PCIe4 one, but PCIe4 models are so new now that I don't expect any good Black Friday pricing, and I'm not buying any more hardware in anticipation of a CPU that I don't know the release date or the specs of.

Would probably buy a Sonos Beam as Christmas gift if there's a good sale on one.

SoundSource? Rogue Amoeba makes top-notch software.

I wonder if 1 TB SSDs will be well priced?

We're in a bit of an awkward spot right now where PCIe 3.0 models have already been very well priced during sales over the past few months, and PCIe 4.0 models are commanding a bit of a premium still, so I wouldn't expect too much in the way of additional sales.

Also, depending on application, you could have more, or fewer choices. e.g. if you just looking for a extra storage space for games for a desktop, pretty much any ssd will work. If you're looking for a PCIe 3.0 drive for a laptop, the SK hynix Gold P31 has stunningly better power efficiency than any other drive on the market, making it tough to recommend anything else.

@Zelig Just to bump up my game storage on a desktop and to coincide with a migration to windows 10.

Rogue Amoeba’s Audio Hijack for sure and probably also loopback. I have an academic discount code but I want a real sale.

I think I’m going to get my M1 or whatever is coming in 2022, I got an intel Mac this year.

I'll be looking for baby stuff (mainly furniture) online this Black Friday.

Secret Labs is having a sale with $70 off their Titan gaming chairs.

18 months ago I'm pretty sure they were $60 less than they are now?
So, $10 off

Lots of people swear by them, but the office chair choir and the 10% who say their butt is sitting on cement make me very hesitant to spend $400 on a chair.

On the other hand, my $80 office depot chair broke in half in 30 days. :o

Well, did buy a Beam. Also some new pillows (Ecosa), and a new wi-fi access point (Eero). And a new TV remote, but that's from ebay and no real sale on it.

This caught my eye, not because I am going to take up the offer, but just why? This is about custom mutant mice for medical research, any such project will require many 10's of thousands of dollars to actually use.
Celebrate Black Friday all November long by entering Cyagen's Catalog Lucky Draw for Knockout Catalog Models. Established in 2020, the Cyagen Knockout Catalog Models repository provides ready-to-use gene knockout (KO) mice with rapid turnaround and competitive prices.

There are limited quantities of our top prizes available – including free breeding ($2,500 value) or up to $2,000 credit – enter before they disappear!

Oh gee
I never buy anything except food and sometimes books
now... because of Baldurs Gate III, she wants to be part of the development feedback year, I did help a daughter with going through the details for buying a new desktop components laptop.
Nicety is that you have a laptop where you can get desktop component quality and you can replace or add over time the graphic card, SSDs, memory etc. Only the processor stays where we did choose a i9-10900K, which should be ok for 6 years or so.

I am just told there are 21 people who already paid for the new round of my online seminar.
Given some of those have bought it with "Black Friday" discounts (40% :/ ), it still will take some more if I am to hope to match last month's decent pay :) But I just might, considering there is more than a week left to sign.

On average, 20-22 people sign each time.
