Black tiles and -10%

Ok, so I got the black tile glitch, rebooted the system and it went away, but just curious what I might have done to cause it in the first place, so I can avoid it later.

Also, I'm guessing that the -10% to food I got for whatever random civ I pulled is based on the civ(s) in question? I couldn't find any explanation for where it was coming from though.

Black tile? You mean the tile graphics not updating when you switch civs, perhaps? If so, save/reload will fix it.

The -10% to foods came from one of the default civics in Wild Mana. Only know this because it comes up in a thread every day.

Wish there were a tooltip on it or something pointing that out I guess

To the tiles, yes, I tried save/reload, but that didn't work. Tried restarting WM, that didn't work. Rebooted the system and it went away.

Oh well, thus is life.
