I'm currently plaing the japan-scenario, and its really great. Some of my units have a ability called blitz. It's probably been around before C3C, but i've never known what it does. (I just started wondering now cause my mounted samurais dont do their 7/7 strengths justice in combat and maybe there is a better way to use them).

Btw, does anybody else have problems with Shift + D (for diplomacy). When i play it might work one turn, but then fails to respond for the next few turns, and then works again. Any clues?

'Blitz' means the unit can attack once for each movement point rather than only once per turn; I'm sure you've noted the difference here between Cav (no Bliz) and Modern Armor (Blitz).

No idea on the shift-D trouble.

The Shift-D is because it is now also a Worker command (clear damage, ie pollution or craters). So if a worker is the currently highlighted unit, Shift-D will tell them to clean pollution (which you probably don't have so they ignore it) and not Diplomacy. If the current unit is not a worker, then Shift-D works normally.

You can also use CTRL-Shift "D" instead of just ctrl d

So there is a new hotkey for Diplomacy? I couldnt find one in the list in the manual. Or i just have to hit it when its not one of my workers highlighted?
