BNW Crashing on launch

BNW now installed but when the loading screen comes up before the menu it just crashes straight to the desktop with no error message.

I've tried different DirectX options, and I've refreshed all Steam files and reinstalled basically. I also wasn't having any problems with Civ (even today) until BNW was installed and now I cannot reach the menu screen.

PS. I have SkipIntroVideo set to 1 so the first screen which comes up is the only one I get to see

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Nvm I uninstalled Civ completely and reinstalled the whole game - then it installed G&K and BNW and launched fine
