Previous Changes:
This is a continuation of the old The History of Three Kingdoms mod in Civ4 Era (Link: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=311432)
The Mod is a historical Mod that covers the time of Three Kingdoms period of China (184 AD – 280 AD). Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Kingdoms
Although relatively short, the Three Kingdoms period has been greatly romanticized in the culture of China, as is portrayed in the Romance of the
Three Kingdoms, a fictional account of the period which has long become part of the psyche of the Chinese. English Version:
http://threekingdoms.com/
Main contents of the MOD:
1. 18 new civs\leaders\traits, most of them are unique to the core game ones. All civs and leaders have pedia entries and city names.
2. Totally new tech tree.
3. Totally new units, with new unit models (Thanks to danrell) and flags, many of them have pedia entries.
4. new social policies system
5. ~30 new buildings, including new series of buildings like papermakers and buddism temples. Most of them have pedia entries.
6. Brandly new wonders, with new splash images and pedia entries.
7. Expanded national wonders to help small country beats bigger country.
8. Ambition instead of Religion. 5 new beliefs added.
9. A fixed Scenario map featuring 18 civs and 18 minor civs, as well as random maps.
Current Issues:
1. Due to the limitation of civ5 modding and the difference in combat system between civ4 and civ5, the hero system is not included in this mod.
However, we're trying to combine our mod with the Heroes of the Three Kingdoms by epicss (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=456018).
Hopefully this will work.
2. Leader background images and unit icons are very simple now. We'll try to make better images, but it takes time. Hope someone with PS skills
can help us.
3. The civpedia is incomplete right now. I plan to get it down this month.
