description of problem:
if you give a bomber a large operational range, and have it bomb a unit close to it's maximum range, it won't bomb, it doesn't even give a message.
Steps to reproduce:
dl the small scenario attached, it has 2 airfields, one on the english coast, and one at the top, with 10 bombers each. There are two enemy spearman located distances apart on the other side of the channel. Try bombing the spearman with the bombers at the top and it won't work, while bombing the spearman with bombers from the lower airfield does.
Observated result:
top-bombers don't hit, don't even get a message that they didn't hit.

That sure is weird. 10 out of 10 from the top stack missed the target. Then I tried with one from the lower stack of bombers and the first one hit without problems.

I wonder whether range is taken in to the probability calculation here?

Didn't think anyone would notice this anymore, good to see someone is still interested :).
I'd really like this bug get fixed, it's really annoying ingame! Btw, Isak, did you see the bombers do their run? Did you see anything, some message like 'our bombing run failed'?

I saw them do the bombing run, but no message appeared at all. Good thing you reminded me, I almost forgot about that. :)

Hmm, my personal experience is that I don't even see the bombers do their run, and it doesn't count as a run either. I've got some planes in a scenario that have 2 moves, but no Blitz, so they can only do one bombing run. I tell them to do the first bombing run, nothing happens, nothing at all, then I can tell them to bomb again, nothing happens again but they can't move anymore.

I find it strange that you see them do the run, hmmm.
