Hey there,
I have just started playing Civ4 for Windows on my 24" iMac (Intel Core 2 Duo, i.e. the previous generation, not the new aluminum ones) under Boot Camp (first 1.3 and now 1.4). It works really wonderfully... for about 30 minutes. Then the window I'm playing it in blacks out, the sound keeps playing, and my computer otherwise freezes/grinds to a halt and requires a manual reboot.
Has anyone else seen this?
Here's some info on my system:
Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac6,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.33 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 667 MHz
Boot ROM Version: IM61.0093.B01
SMC Version: 1.10f3
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT:
Chipset Model: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT
Type: Display
Bus: PCIe
VRAM (Total): 256 MB
Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
Device ID: 0x0391

Help? I really love Civ4 and I don't wanna have to constantly reboot!
