Why does everyone keep giving Koeningsburg/Kaliningrad to the poles? Historically it has never been Polish, Its been German, and ethnically its overwhelmingly Russian, and if you were going to give it to the runners up it would go to Belarus or Ukraine!

Is there a large independence movement in Corsica? I was not aware of it. The Basques get a lot of attention... so it's just ignorance on my part and/or a lack of a media/terrorist campaign on part of the Corsicans

Merged the Sunni lands with Saudi Arabia. If we withdraw, the Sunni's will become a de facto Saudi Protectorate.

Kurdsistan, most likely one that will have to be close to Saudi Arabia for protection as its the only power in the region not threatened by Kurdistan, Shiites given an independent Arab state, most likely a Iranian client state.

I don't think Europe will change much in 50 years. If anything, Europe will become something of a loosely-joined federated superstate, under the European Union.

Well, it would have been nice if Russia didn't have a military base within striking distance of the EU/NATO, but what can ya do...

I am also wondering why you have Bucharest (if that's what it is) as a separate country?

Nah, Bucharest is further south. Thats supposed to be Harghita and Covasna counties. Hungarians make up the vast majority of the population there, but not between it and Hungary. This has made for the two countries trading the area back and forth between the two, with either the Hungarians ruling over Romanian lands to bridge the gap, or the Romanians ruling over Hungarian lands.
As a solution, I posed creating a seperate nation Hungarian in character but independent of Hungary.

Well, if I was to pose a solution other then repopulation, it would be to make it an international city.
